Nexus - a low energy scraped surface heat exchanger

Energy saving
During production less power is needed per production hour compared to machines of the same capacity. The reduced energy requirement is a result of long term research of different refrigerants in connection with an optimal scraper blade design and drive configuration. |

Easy inspection and maintenance
It is possible to inspect and change scraper blades without removing the rotor. However, if the rotor needs to be removed for further maintenance, the blades stay in place on the rotor during this operation. To ease dismounting of the rotor a service crane can be mounted on the top. In addition, the design of the water seal is improved to include only few parts. |

Optimisation of floor space
It is possible to mount the pin rotor machine on top in order to save floor space. Additionally, multiple machines can be placed close to each other as all pipes and valves for the chilling system are mounted on top of the Nexus. The water attemperation unit is a stand-alone init which fits perfectly under the motors.
